About PASCH
Peace and Safety in the Christian Home (PASCH) is a loose coalition of academics, professionals, clergy and lay people who are alarmed by domestic violence in the Christian home and are interested in solving the problem of abuse in the Christian home. We began forming early in the autumn of 2003.
Our Mission (Why do we exist?)
Our goal is to increase peace and safety in the Christian home and in the world it serves by addressing and decreasing domestic and sexual abuse in those homes.
“I will lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.” Psalms 4:8

Of course our conferences do not come cost-free, and many who attend do not pay the full registration fee. They come with scholarship aid, and we are so glad that they do! That is exactly what PASCH is all about, but it does leave us in financial straits.
Quite honestly, we cannot continue to lay the burden of all our work on volunteers. Our friends have been absolutely wonderful and do so very much to make the conferences run smoothly, but for the long run we need a paid staff person. At over eighty years of age, Dr. Kroeger is doing many jobs — writing acknowledgements of new memberships, donations, and inquiries — that could be better handled by others. Cathie would probably be of more use to PASCH if she could spend more time writing.
We have a highly competent person who would love to work for us, but we do not have the funding to make this possible. She has excellent skills and experience, and is committed to the mission and ministry of PASCH.
Can our friends and members help us — either by sending direct contributions or by steering us to other contacts and resources? Does anyone know how to write grants? Are there other ways that PASCH could be gaining revenue? Can you please send us your insights, ideas and suggestions?
